PTI Jan. 2012 Blog Hop


It's been quite sometime since I have participated in a PaperTrey InkBlog Hop. I just started back blogging, so why not jump right in. My 2011 project was the owl notepad that I made for my daughter for Christmas. She had been asking me for awhile to make her one. She is into owls right now, so I knew Wise Owl was the prefect set. Today I made her birthday (yes, early-her birthday is in June) card which was fun as I took the inspiration from her well-loved notepad. I used all her favorite colors as well. Let's just hope she still likes owls by June:)

    Cute idea! I love those owls. I'm sure your daughter will still be in love with them by June! (btw, that's my birth month too!)

    I love this set-great combination of patterns and colors! AND that your daughter actually asked for one of the notepads is a real compliment! I know what you mean with "what will she be into come June?" I have a daughter, too! :-)
    I have made only one note pad and have leftover materials...thanks for inspiring me to make a few more!
